With the 2019/20 Top 14 season cancelled, French clubs can turn their eyes towards the kick off of the 2020/21 season in September, and all the exciting new kit goodness that comes with it. The latest club to show off their new wares are big-spending title hopefuls Montpellier.
After having a primarily light blue home shirt last season, the balance between light and dark is a bit more even this year, though the sky blue is definitely the primary colour here, it’s accented nicely by the swirly striped pattern across the front.

The away shirt is the latest in a long line of geometric designs we’ve seen in the last decade, with a haphazard pattern of triangles of various shades of blue and purple covering the front of the jersey – it’s certainly cleaner and classier than many we’ve seen of this type, however.
Montpellier will don their new jerseys for the first time when they take on Pau in the opening round of the Top 14 2020/21 season on the weekend of the 5 September.

Home shirt looks really good, a great club to visit as well. The fan bands before and after matches put UK attempts to shame.
