The Queensland Reds have revealed their brand new 2020 alternate jersey, which the team will be wearing throughout the forthcoming Super Rugby season.

The jersey itself is inspired by a Reds’ jersey of the late 1990s when John Eales and company wore maroon, blue and white bands. Here the white has been stopped for a very fetching shade of grey.

The jersey will provide lovely contrast to the previously launched home shirt, which keeps the classic maroon shade with nice white and blue piping on the sleeves and a striking crossover collar.

The new alternate jersey will be the Reds’ shirt of choice during forthcoming trail and preseason games (the Reds only wear maroon for capped encounters) and will also be used as their primary shirt when they tour South Africa this season.
