The newly-christened Great Britain & Irish Lions rugby league touring side have revealed the brand new jersey that they’ll wear on their 2019 tour of the Southern Hemisphere.

Back in 2007, the Great Britain concept was shelved after 99 years in favour of promoting the individual home nations’ national sides, but back in 2017 the RFL announced that it would be brought back as a touring side.

Now, the rechristened Great Britain & Irish Lions will tour Australia and New Zealand with a new Hummel kit that evokes the classic GB Rugby League vibe with a partial blue and red chevron (with isometric pattern), and blue shoulders.

The GB badge has also been streamlined, with the old ‘Great Britain Rugby League’ wordmark being removed, leaving just the lion logo.
