Harlequins rugby have revealed their brand new 2017/18 jerseys, including their charity shirt, once again manufactured by Adidas.
The new home shirt is a return to the traditional Quins colours after last year’s retro 150th anniversary take, although the jersey is designed to work with unconventional quartered shorts, so the top quarters are significantly larger than the bottom ones to create this effect.
The away jersey is another take on Adidas’s ‘territory’ concept – which we saw on the recent Lions tour Super Rugby jerseys, and also the Munster training gear.
The shirt features a distressed map of the boroughs of London, while also incorporating the Harlequins diamonds.
This year’s Charity Jersey, which will be worn for the Big Game in December at Twickenham Stadium, black as usual, but features a striking modern Quins diamond motif across the front.
