The Kenyan Rugby Union has revealed brand new home and away jerseys once again supplied by long-term partner Samurai Sports, which once again incorporates a variety of Kenyan-specific design details.
The red home shirt and green away shirt both utilise the same design, painstakingly created over several months by Samurai’s in-house design team, taking inspiration from traditional African tribal body painting, as well as the colours of the Kenyan flag.
The shirt also features the KRU’s new main sponsor, SportPesa, and the on-field OMG ICONIX test jerseys feature high performance 4DX fabric, integrated performance collar and anti-pinch underarm panelling allow a full range of movement and use Samurai’s exclusive wicking and breathable PerformeX fabrics.
