The Ospreys always have a reputation for eye-catching kit designs, but 2020 might be some of the region’s most wild and brash designs ever – particularly the away design which is already causing a stir all across social media.

Clearly, the Ospreys have rediscovered their passion for loud and brash kits after a few years of quite muted away designs, with the new one mixing pink, green and purple in a striking pattern that is designed to represent the river system of the local area, allowing the team to take their home with them when they are playing away.

The home shirt, on the other hand, is a bit more muted, with a pattern on the body of the jersey made of a ‘black blood’ swirl design of the region’s mask logo, with white and grey accents on the collar and sleeves.

The Ospreys will presumably wear their new kits for the first time at a preseason friendly against the Scarlets this weekend, where presumably we’ll also get an answer whether Alun Wyn Jones is planning on wearing his shorts up that high for the whole season.

What do you think of these attention-grabbing new jerseys? A return to the Ospreys tradition for loud and brash jerseys, or a bit rancid? Let us know below!
