Kenya Rugby Union has announced what is being billed as a ‘long term’ kit partnership with BLK Sport, which will see the Simbas 15s and 7s teams don the brand’s gear on and off the field.
Eagle-eyed readers will have noticed that Kenya have been wearing BLK in the opening rounds of the 2019/20 World Rugby Sevens series, replacing long-term kit supplier Samurai Sports.

However, no there was no official word previously whether the partnership was anything other than a temporary or short-term arrangement – something that this announcement obviously confirms.
“This is an important moment for our African footprint and we are ecstatic to welcome the Kenyan national teams to the BLK family.” said BLK Africa chief Brian Katzen.
“We look forward to kitting Kenya’s premier rugby players in quality performance apparel with world-class designs that will capture the spirit of Kenyan rugby!”
