Russian Rugby has revealed a brand new kit partnership with Australian kit supplier BLK Sport, and paired it with a dynamic new crest for the 2019 Rugby World Cup group-stage participants.
BLK replaces Canterbury, whose fine kits the Russians wore at last year’s global showpiece, and they’ve already worn their new jerseys in competition in a trial match against the Sharks last weekend.

The new crest, on the other hand, is a stylised take on the previous logo of the Russian Rugby logo, with the old ‘rugby playing polar bear’ rendered in abstract negative space form thanks to a variety of dramatic red triangle shapes.
Russia will wear their new BLK gear and crest in anger for the first time in the forthcoming Rugby Europe Championship competition.
