The Hurricanes have revealed the brand new home shirt that the Wellington-based team will wear throughout their 2019/20 Super Rugby campaign.
The new jersey features a striking pattern in black and yellow across the body of the jersey, which the blurb tells us are wind barbs that reflect actual wind readings taken from the Wellington era in 2016 – the year the Hurricanes won Super Rugby.
Other than that, the jersey is very simple – with Adidas’ new Super Rugby template sporting partial stripes that go over the shoulders, a simple partial round-necked collar and some prominent sleeve cuffs.
