Gloucester Rugby have revealed their brand new 2019/20 home and away shirts, which have been supplied by new kit partner Oxen Sports, which again seek to evoke a specific era of the club’s long history.
Oxen is a new brand created by retailer Elite Pro Sports, who previously held the license to make XBlades in the UK market, but have now opted to create their own marque for the club.
The home shirt continues the recent practice of evoking a certain era of Gloucester rugby history – in this case evoking the late 80s and early 90s shirts with prominent black pinstripes in the classic red and white hoops.
The change shirt, on the other hand, is a striking light blue jersey with thick dark blue bands running across the body.
