Penrith Panthers have revealed their brand new Indigenous jersey, which as is the fashion features a striking design inspired by Australian indigenous culture.

As usual created by Penrith’s kit partner Classic Sportswear, the design is based on an artwork by Panthers Indigenous Welfare Officer Glen Liddiard.

As well as incorporating the red, yellow and green Panthers colours, the design also depicts the geography and people of the Darug Nation – the home of the Panthers community today.

The jersey also features totems of the Wiradjuri, Guriwal and Biripi people, representing the club’s proud legacy of Indigenous players.

The Panthers will wear their 2019 Indigenous Jersey against the Eels on Thursday 23 May 2019.
