Catalans Dragons have revealed a special one-off kit that the Super League side will wear for their match against Wigan Warriors, which is being played at the home of Barcelona FC, the Camp Nou on 18 May 2019.
The jersey, which has been created by the Dragons’ kit partner O’Neills, combines the iconic look Barcelona’s home kit with some suitably rugby league flourishes.
The base of the shirt takes the famous red and blue vertical stripes of the Blaugranes home shirt, while the top half is plain blue. Interestingly the chevron and sleeve cuffs both feature the red and yellow stripes of the Catalan flag, while tonal chevrons also feature all the way up the chest.
The Catalans Dragons will wear this shirt just once, for the game against Wigan at the Nou Camp, but is available to buy now.
