The Vodacom Bulls have revealed the brand new home and away jerseys that they’ll wear for the new 2019 Super Rugby season, which starts on 16 February 2019.
The new jersey differs from recent seasons in that the darker shade of blue is much more prominent as part of the the striking ‘Bulls Armour’ graphic across the front. With the light blue dominating the rear of the design.
The away shirt uses the same graphic, but it’s white with grey and dark green accents that cover the shoulders and chest.
Interestingly, the Bulls have indicated that the shirts will be used by both Super Rugby and Currie Cup teams, which won’t please fans of the classic Northern Transvaal jersey – and calls in to question whether the iconic Barberton daisy will be retained, too.
The Vodacom Bulls will wear their new jerseys for the first time when they take on the Stormers at Loftus Versfeld for their opening game of the Super Rugby season on 16 Feb 2019.
