The Plus500 Brumbies have signed a brand new kit deal with Irish apparel brand O’Neills, and revealed the brand new home and away jerseys that the Australian team will wear throughout the 2019 Super Rugby season.
O’Neills is most known for its GAA and rugby league kits, but does have a history in rugby union in the Northern hemisphere – notably through its deals with Harlequins and London Irish.
O’Neills Australia launched in 2015 and has since become active in the lower levels of rugby union in Canberra, supplying a host of local teams, as well as NRC team Canberra Vikings.
The new home shirt is O’Neills’ take on the classic white and blue Brumbies jersey complete with three gold bars, while the alternate is all blue, with a sweeping sublimated graphic.
The Brumbies will wear their new home shirt for the first time when they take on the Rebels at GIO Stadium for the first game of the Super Rugby season on 15 February 2019.
