Last season saw the first running of the newly expanded Guinness Pro14, and the competition has returned in unaltered format for 2018/19. Below you’ll find every new Guinness Pro14 jersey for the new season for all the teams from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy and South Africa.

Once again the Italian team will be supplied by fellow Italians Errea, but they’ve ditched the white and green hoops that everyone loves so much this season for something a bit more polarising.

The home shirt is green with a sublimated lion on the front of it, while the away is a light-to-dark blue faded design.

Cardiff Blues

The Blues have become the latest in a rapidly growing band of Pro14 clubs who have switched to Macron this season, ending their long association with Canterbury.

The first Macron shirts owed a fair debt to CCC however, with both home and away strongly referencing recent Cardiff Blues jersey designs.

Cheetahs

The Cheetahs have launched a brand new kit that they’ll be wearing for the Pro14 season (and different kit for their Currie Cup campaign, interestingly).

The new Canterbury kits ditch the plain orange look of the last few seasons for a rather stunning white and orange hooped design with black trim.

Connacht

The Galway team are one of a very few pro teams still wearing the jerseys of embattled Australian kit maker BLK, but their new home shirt is at least striking.

The dark green shirt is accented with a range of fluorescent green pinstripes that’s supposed to reflect the club’s commitment to grass roots rugby.

Dragons

The Dragons have continued their on and off-field revolution by signing up with ambitious UK company VX3.

The new kits feature an interesting dragon scale motif around the bottom of the design and the sleeve cuffs, while the change jersey is blue and white as usual.

Edinburgh Rugby

Scotland’s capital team have undertaken a dramatic overhaul of their branding this offseason, which includes a new club crest and colours.

The new jerseys ditch the black and red that they’ve used recently in favour of blue, orange and white, in very modern style.

Glasgow Warriors

Glasg

Unlike their rivals down the M8, there’s been no dramatic changes to branding or colour for the Warriors this season – in fact the 18/19 Glasgow jerseys feature a return to tradition.

The home shirt is the usual black, this time with tartan accents, while the away jersey sees the club back in their traditional sky blue for the first time under Macron.

Leinster

One of the biggest sponsorship stories of the last 18 months has been Leinster’s defection to Adidas after a long association with Canterbury.

The new jerseys are strikingly modern, with a patterned blue home shirt and an interesting olive drab away.

Munster

No new home jersey for the Munstermen this season, as they stick with the all-red design Adidas produced for them in 2017/18.

They are sporting a striking new European home shirt that marks the 10th anniversary of Thomond Park’s redevelopment, and a striking ‘copper ore’ blue away shirt.

Ospreys

The Ospreys are once again wearing Canterbury gear for 2018/19, with the home shirt  launched on the 10 August and the away being revealed shirt two weeks later on the 23 August.

The home shirt is a break from the norm, with white sleeves and collar, and a irregular white pinstripes across the front, with a streak of electric blue up the shoulders and around the collar.

Scarlets

Last season’s Pro14 finalists are wearing Macron again this season, but the bulk of the conversation about their new home shirt has been about the vast number of sponsors the new kit is sporting.

The new away shirt will launch later this month, and is expected to feature blue and white.

 Southern Kings

The new kits for the Port Elizabeth-based side were revealed late on, perhaps because of a change of kit supplier to South Africa firm TK Sports.

The shirts are black for the home and red for the away, with red and gold piping, and an interesting geometric pattern on the front and shoulders, plus a short stub collar

Ulster

Ulster are the only team in the Pro14 who haven’t changed any of their kits for the new season (so far).

As such, they’ll be wearing the same white Kukri number as last year, with black and red pinstriped accents on the shoulders.

Zebre

Like their Italian rivals Treviso, Zebre are wearing Errea jerseys again this season, but the design of their primary jersey is certainly different.

The shirt has borrowed the ‘rainbow zebre’ motif seen in last year’s home shirt and appears to now be the primary design.

  1. No offence…but why bother with this article at this time with so many pro14 kits not yet revealed?
