Scotland Rugby have revealed the brand new home and away kits that they’ll be wearing for their 2018 Autumn internationals and 2019 Six Nations campaigns, once again produced by Macron Sports.
The home shirt is all blue with an interesting new collar ‘modern grandad’ design that features purple piping, which is echoed on the side panels, and accented by green piping, which is inspired by the SRU tartan.
The away shirt is white with silver shoulders, sleeves and side panels, complete with dark blue inserts on the shoulders and hips, plus sky blue piping. Both shirts also feature ‘jelly-glue, smooth silicone’ badges for the SRU and Macron logos.
Scottish Rugby Chief operating Officer, Dominic McKay, said: “Yet again Macron have created both attractive and technically innovative match kits for our men’s national team for the coming season.
“This is a hugely important campaign for Head Coach Gregor Townsend’s squad with Rugby World Cup 2019 in mind, and I am sure the squad and fans alike will embrace and enjoy wearing these bold new designs.”
Both kits will be available for sale this Friday, keep an eye on Rugby Shirt Watch for our full review of the new shirts soon.
