The UAR have revealed the jerseys that Los Pumas will wear for this year’s Rugby Championship tournament, as usual produced by longtime kit supplier, Nike.
The traditional blue and white hoops of Argentina are present and correct on the home jersey, albeit with an interesting geometric pattern running through the hoops that bares some similarity to the patterns often seen in indigenous textiles.

As for the change shirt… well your guess is as good as ours! It’s a dark blue shirt with orange badges, and the design looks like someone’s spilled paint on it. The theme of this year’s jerseys is ‘the clubs are our flag’ – the idea that the Pumas embody the DNA and spirit of all of the rugby clubs in Argentina, so maybe it’s something to do with that.
