Munster Rugby have revealed the brand new 2018/19 European and away jerseys that they’ll wear throughout their forthcoming Guinness Pro15 and Heineken Champions Cup seasons.

The new European shirt is a classic Munster red jersey, but with a series of blue and gold squares throughout a grid-style pattern, designed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Thomond Park’s redevelopment.

Also revealed was a brand new alternate jersey, which the province will wear away from Thomond Park this season.

The light blue design is inspired by Munster’s Cliffs Of Moher, as reflected by the undulating graphic on the front, while the colour is designed to represent copper ore.

Munster will wear the new European and Alternate jerseys alongside the all-red home kit that was revealed last season.

All three shirts are available exclusively from Life Style Sports, keep an eye on Rugby Shirt Watch for all the latest Pro14 jersey news.

  1. they’re both meh at best. the home shirt they had two season ago with the white stub collar was great; the red on darker red they currently wear is pretty bad imo. their euro jersey the last two seasons was great, this one is pretty much a home jersey with color sprinkles; and the alternate looks like training gear. Interestingly enough, their navy training shirt is the best looking one of the bunch.

  2. How can the Club/adidas get away with supplying an away shirt pretty much the same as the home? Whats the logic? I think I actually prefer the away home jersey to the home home jersey!

      1. Haha thanks for clearing that up. I could not get my head around it.
