Bristol Bears have revealed the new away jersey that the recently rebranded club will wear in their first season back in the Gallagher Premiership, as well as a new European shirt that they’ll wear for Challenge Cup action.
The new jersey follows on from the final reveal of the home shirt last week, and unlike that design, this shirt is very different from the change design that was originally teased in April.
That’s perhaps not surprising – it was raised at the time that a dark blue home and a black away shirt wouldn’t provide nearly enough colour contrast in a league where multiple teams wear dark colours at home.
Instead then, we have this classic and clean white jersey, with black trim and black hoops on the sleeve – pleasingly with all Bristol kits this year, the sponsors are all colour-coordinated, which always helps the look.
That original black away kit hasn’t been thrown on the scrapheap, however – it’s been repurposed as the European jersey, and pairs a black shirt and shorts with hooped sleeves and socks.
