England Rugby have revealed the brand new training range that they will wear throughout the 2018/19 international season, once again produced by long-term kit supplier, Canterbury of New Zealand.
For the last few years England have mixed up their classic colours with eye-catching bright or neon accents, but this season Canterbury has opted to return to a more restrained and classic look with ‘anthracite’ and ‘oyster grey’ being the colours of choice.
Another feature of the new gear is a sublimated tonal hashed pattern that creates a hooped effect on the training tshirt and singlet – it’s not known if this will be continued on to the England on-field jerseys but it’s a safe bet.
The new kit will be launched today at an event at Twickenham, and England captain Dylan Hartley commented, “As a team, we put everything into training for the game and our dedication is reflected on the field. We rely on the kit to aid that performance and so it’s great to see Canterbury’s commitment to comfort and advanced technology in the new training range.”
