A few weeks ago we revealed the first fruits of the new partnership between Canterbury and Union Bordeaux Bègles – we were suitably impressed with the ‘Tradition’ jersey, and were very keen to see what they’d come out with next. The answer, is the ‘Atlantique’ home shirt.
Another absolute stunner, the UBB home shirt combines a blue base jersey with a series of unconventional hoops – unconventional in that they have a single off-centre burgundy pinstripe running through them.
It’s certainly a bit different, and yet at the same time it feels utterly classic, and is another absolutely drop dead gorgeous jersey for the club to wear in 2017/18. Stay tuned to Rugby Shirt Watch for any more UBB jerseys that appear in the next few weeks.
