UK apparel maker VX3 has continued its rapid expansion into top-flight rugby by becoming the Dragons kit supplier from the 2018/19 season, replacing previous long-term partner, Gilbert.
Under the new agreement, which follows on from VX3 signing up Worcester Warriors last week, will see the UK firm provide match jerseys and training kit (pictured above) for the Dragons first team, as well as kit for the new Regional A team, age grades and the Dragons Women.
In addition, VX3’s parent company, Lovell Rugby, have also signed on as the long-term training and leisurewear supplier for Dragons Rugby, appearing prominently on the new training jerseys.
“We are delighted to be wearing VX3 from next season,” said Dragons Head Coach Bernard Jackman. “Like the Dragons, VX3 are a fresh new brand, with an ambitious vision, albeit with many years of experience at their core in business and in sport.”
“Myself and a number of our first team players have been down to work with VX3 to ensure we have kit that meets our demands, and have been very impressed by what we saw.”
“Seeing the products designed, developed and distributed here in Wales is important to us as we know we will benefit from the quality and expertise VX3’s hugely experienced design and technical team possess.”

these would make great shirts, shame they are training shirts. Although maybe a bit too ‘Sarries’.
Yeah thought the same thing when I saw them
The White would make a good away shirt, it’s really nice, hopefully they drop the balcony and have red as a primary colour, look a lot better and suit the name dragons a lot better or have gold to link in more with Gwent
