Ahead of their Challenge Cup final appearance in Bilbao next month, Cardiff Blues have announced a new long-term sponsorship deal with Macron Sports.
The deal, which has been widely rumoured for some time, will see the end of the region’s long partnership with Canterbury – the Blues have worn CCC jerseys since 2004/5, so Macron will become just the third sponsor the Blues have ever had (they wore Fila in their first season 2003/4).
Macron have signed a four-year deal with the Blues, which will see them join Scarlets, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Northampton in their UK club portfolio.
Keep an eye on Rugby Shirt Watch for news on Cardiff Blues’ new Macron kits as soon as they’re revealed.

first season of Regional Rugby, 2003-2004, Cardiff Blues wore Fila.
Of course they did – got it in our heads that they started in 04/05 not 03/04, amended!
