Bath Rugby have revealed their 2018 Charity Jersey, which the Westcountry Club will wear for next month’s The Clash fixture against Leicester Tigers at Twickenham. The new shirt, which as usual is produced by Canterbury, is once again produced in partnership with the Bath Rugby Foundation, and the one-off design features a special celebration of the people helped by the club’s charitable arm.
The panelled white, blue and black jersey features the faces of 15 individuals who have overcome the odds and achieved remarkable success while taking part in programmes run by Bath Rugby Foundation, creating a special ‘Bath Rugby Foundation XV’.
“As players, we know that every time we step onto the field we are representing everyone in Bath,” said club captain Matt Garvey. “We’re honoured to be taking these 15 amazing individuals onto the Twickenham pitch with us.”
As well as celebrating and raising awareness of the Bath Rugby Foundation, the limited edition jersey will also raise funds for the foundation.
