The Samoa Rugby Union have announced that the troubled Pacific Isles team has renewed its kit deal with Australian brand BLK Sport.
Manu Samoa wore BLK/Kooga jerseys for many years, including memorably at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, but the relationship between the two ended during BLK’s financial troubles a few years back, and the team wore Limited Edition (LE) jerseys during last year’s November tour.
Now, however, with BLK owned by a consortium of investors from Fiji and East Timor, the company has a renewed focus on rugby in the Pacific Isles, and renewing one of their oldest relationships makes sense – here’s hoping BLK gets back to making striking Manu Samoa jerseys soon.
