The DHL Stormers have revealed their brand new jerseys that the Cape Town-based team will be wearing throughout the Super Rugby 2018 season. The new shirts are the first Stormers/Western Province jerseys not to be made by Adidas for over 30 years, after WP Rugby announced that they would be taking the kits in-house a few months ago.
The new shirts are actually produced in the same factory in South Africa that the old Adidas jerseys were made, and keep the classic blend of a white and blue home shirt, with the same black and red colour scheme that the Stormers have been using for the last few seasons, too.
There’s no hoops on either shirt, but the home shirt does nod to tradition with white and blue striped panels on the side.
