Newcastle Falcons have revealed a brand new European shirt that the club will be wearing throughout their Champions Cup campaign. The new hooped green and white design was debuted in the Falcons opening European encounter with Dragons on Saturday, but the design is more than just a Euro jersey.

This season marks the 140th anniversary of the club that was originally known as Gosforth FC, and the white and green hoops were the colours worn by the club for over a century until the dawn of professionalism saw the club rebrand as Newcastle Falcons.
The shirt also features a special commemorative 140th anniversary badge instead of the standard logo. The new shirt is available now.
