England Rugby have revealed their brand new alternate shirt, which the reigning Six Nations champions will wear for the forthcoming November internationals. The new jersey continues Canterbury’s current policy of trying to mask player movement through design by breaking from the norm with a dark grey base accentuated with striking red fade on the shirt sleeves and shorts.
The body of the jersey also features a striking sublimated angular pattern that’s designed to represent the distinctive design of Twickenham stadium.
Speaking at the jersey’s launch, England captain Dylan Hartley said: “It’s an honour for each and every player to wear the England shirt and represent the country. It’s great to see once again that Canterbury is as committed to performance as we players are. It gives us real confidence to know we are wearing the best possible kit.”
The new England alternate shirt is available to preorder now.
new USA, Samoa, Uruguay shirts but no mention………………..
No decent pics, not much point in us doing a story on them is it, Dave?
Not Europe so you wouldn’t care anyway !
And not Canterbury so you cant do one of your fan boy reviews…….
Don’t let the fact that we cover loads of non-European and indeed non-CCC jerseys get in the way of a good hysterical rant there, Dave…
Loads!!!!!!
Now you are having a laugh!
Just the facts Dave – CCC have more teams than anyone else in rugby, so naturally they’re going to feature heavily in our coverage, but we did more posts on XBlades and Macron last month than we did on Canterbury, for example.
As for non-European shirts, yeah we do loads, but it’s the start of the Northern Hemisphere season, so over the last few months we’ve done mainly NH shirts… because that’s what’s being released. Come Nov/December we’ll start on the Super Rugby shirts again, because that’s when they’ll be released. It’s really not hard…
