Montpellier bowed out of the Top 14 playoffs at the quarter final stage last season, and with new coach Vern Cotter on board will be looking to go deeper this year – and they’ll be doing it wearing a brand new shirt from Kappa. This is the second year with Kappa for MHR, and after an absolutely stunning first take on the home shirt, they’ve gone for something a bit different in this time around.
The design pairs the traditional dark blue body with a striking electric blue top half, with oh so trendy faded stripe motif melding the two together.
The away shirt dispenses with the stripey fade motif altogether, and actually might be all the better for it.
The shirt melds a clean, classic white jersey with dark blue sleeves, arm vents, complete with striking electric blue trim.
While we don’t love these designs as much as the lovely retro shirts that Kappa produced last year, these are still really rather nice in a more modern way – though we’ll admit the fade stripe thing is getting a little bit old now!
