Ahead of the kick-off of the 2017/18 Top 14 season, playoff hopefuls Union Bordeaux Bègles have revealed their brand new jerseys, once again made by Kappa.
As we’ve said before, UBB have one of the most appealing colour palettes in all of rugby, and this year it’s no surprise that once again Kappa has made the most of it.
The primary jersey is dark blue with an interesting half-plain, half tonal hoops effect, with subtle burgundy accents. The away shirt is the pick of the bunch – another tonal hooped affair, mixing grey, white, blue and burgundy hoops to great effect.
The third jersey is a throwback to the chevron design we’ve seen them use a lot recently – this burgundy shirt has a striking blue multi-striped chevron accented by burgundy tonal Vs.
All three shirts will be worn by Union Bordeaux Bègles at various points this season in both the Top 14 and in Europe – keep an eye out for a full review soon.
