Ahead of the start of the 2017/18 Top 14, last season’s surprise semi-finalists, La Rochelle, have revealed their brand new jerseys, once again produced by reborn French sports brand, Hungaria.
It’s La Rochelle’s second year with Hungaria, and like the Toulon jerseys we revealed earlier this week, all three jerseys have noticeably different designs – a rare and welcome sight these days.
The home shirt is the traditional black of Stade Rochelais in the top half, but contrasting with a dark, charcoal grey on the bottom, combined with small yellow panels on the shoulders. Meanwhile, the away is a stunning white and blacked hooped ensemble with yellow pinstripes breaking up each hoop.
The really unusual one however, is the third/European shirt, which is divided into three distinct sections – yellow, light grey and black. It’s certainly a bit different to anything else we’ll see this season.
Stade Rochelais will wear their new kits for the 2017/18 Top 14 season and also in the Champions Cup.
