French Top 14 club Castres Olympique have revealed their brand new 2017/18 jerseys, which have been designed by French equipment supplier, Kipsta, for the fourth year.
The new jerseys all have the same basic template, with the dark blue home, white away and light blue third jersey all having the same striking geometric graphic incorporating the three colours of the jerseys running across the top of the chest area.
The colours on the graphic don’t change depending on which shirt they’ve been used on, so the way the colours blend in the base colour gives each shirt a subtly different vibe despite their templated design – a nice touch.
Interestingly, the shirt also debuts a brand new logo for Kipsta – the French brand opting for a restrained, cleaner and more modern logo than the previous blocky font.
Castres will wear their new jerseys away to Racing 92 when they kick off their Top 14 campaign on the 26 August.
New Font/graphic/icon for the header huh?
