The Springboks have launched a brand new home shirt ahead of the 2017 international season. It’s South Africa’s first totally new jersey since 2015, and is once again produced by ASICS.
The new shirt dispenses with the gold bands on the sleeves that have polarised opinion for the last two years, reverting to a more traditional plain green shirt with gold collar. The collar itself is notable – it’s the first ASICS design to sport a classic fold-over button-up design, albeit in a modern, low-profile style.
In addition to the new collar style, the on-field jersey is notable for the rubberised logos for both the Springbok and SARU crests, while tonal Springboks can also be seen sublimated into the body of the jersey itself.
The new Springboks home jersey will be available to buy from 1 June, and South Africa will wear their new kit for the first time against France on the 10 June 2017, and will wear it throughout the Rugby Championship and end of year tests.

The other crest, on the opposite side to Spingboks logo is not SARU crest, but the crest of the SASC, the South African Sports Commission
A matte finish version of this would be better.
